The City of San Antonio Metropolitan Health District (Metro Health) will host a grand opening ceremony for the Resource Center at Villa Coronado. Ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. The resource center will offer onsite activities and amenities including vegetable gardening, a community meeting space, lactation rooms, computers, a free little library, and a community fruit tree orchard. Other activities will be offered by City programs and external partners to include health education classes, group fitness classes, community support groups, mobile health screening services, and assistance to enroll for health care, SNAP, and WIC benefits.
